Text	William and Hannah’s eldest child, Diana, was born about 1799/1800. Since most newly married couples had their first child within 1.5 years of their marriage, William and Hannah’s marriage date is estimated at 1796/97. When William Dabney Jr made a deed of trust to Robert Brooke for 220 acres in 1795 (King William Deed Book 3, pp.125-126, he signed without Hannah’s signature, indicating that they were not yet married.
